The world is changing at a dizzying pace due to AI, which is changing at an unprecedented speed.

In the discussion, the new strengths of humans in the future in light of the digitalization of law, the nature and authority of humans in a future where AI has developed, and the possible value of analog in the future digital nation are discussed from Yokoyama’s perspective as a business manager, Hashimoto’s as a lawyer, and Taira’s as a politician.

Taira pointed out that AI should be used only as a tool, in other words “Human-in-the-Loop”, meaning that humans should always take the final responsibility for important matters. In contrast, Hashimoto commented that while modesty is important for humans in some situations, it is okay to be a little arrogant with AI, remembering that AI is “for reference only” and “a machine”.

Moreover, Yokoyama mentioned that an inspection factor to AI is absolutely necessary, such as generating new ones by adversary-generated AI such as GAN (Generative Adversarial Network) while simultaneously inspecting them. As AI technology and the digital state develop in the future, the key will be on how humans react to it and how they respond to problems.
